Skirt- Giles at Koovs, Top- Zara, Shoes- River Island, On my lips- Lady Danger by Mac

It's been such a hectic yet fun summer so far with some many new brand launches and some fun collaborations! One of them is the capsule collection by the British designer, Giles Deacon for Koovs. I'm sure all of you have been on before but for those of you who have been living under a rock, Koovs is an e-retail website that not only stocks some trendy in house designs but also some of the best fashion from UK based brands! I have been a regular shopper at Koovs since it was launched almost 2 years ago and I find a gem every time I log on. They have in the past done some really cool collaborations with well known designers too and this one looks just as quirky. I frankly am not a follower of Giles's work but I absolutely love some of the pieces in this collection and the fact that Cate Blanchett wore one of his designs to the Cannes Film Festival last week some how makes me even more excited.

One of my favourite pieces from the collection is this printed maxi! I love the way it fits, the side slit and how that black waist band streamlines the entire look. The print of course is the star of this piece and because it is monochrome, it can be paired with so many different colors. For this outfit, I decided to pair this eccentric maxi skirt with a cobalt blue top, to keep it simple yet alluring. I then went ahead and swiped on some bright orange lipstick which is definitely inspired by Sonam Kapoor's cobalt and orange combination that she donned earlier this month at Cannes. To finish it all, I threw on some barely there black sandals and these gorgeous statement earrings. What do you guys think of this look? You could check out the entire collection on and grab a little something from it while it's still available! Hope you are all having a wonderful summer!

Top- Forever21, Suede Skirt- Asos, On my lips- Mac Ririwoo lipstick, Necklace- Colaba, Myntra App

On a lazy day or pretty much every other night, I am on my phone stalking and admiring the gorgeous outfits worn by my favourite celebrities and wishing for some magical prowess to straightaway get them to me! Be it at events, vacation photo diaries or just a casual day in, some of them are dressed impeccably every single time! Not just that, I sometimes am completely awestruck by the ensembles worn by some gorgeous women in the past. Audrey Hepburn’s style is something I am so inspired by and she is probably the reason for my extreme love for feminine pieces. Lately, I have been crushing on every look Kendall Jenner wears! Be it her silver jewellery heavy Coachella looks, her dreamy Cannes ensembles or even her off duty style, it’s all utterly eye grabbing. I won’t lie, there are fleeting thoughts of owning every piece or just a desire to recreate an outfit she wore almost every time I look at a new image of hers. Now let’s be real, her body and her styling team is not something I can compete with or even the flare that Audrey Hepburn exhibited, which makes me sometimes wish for some magical powers to instantly get my style fix and transform myself into the ones I admire. How cool would it be if you could promptly get an outfit similar to your favourite celebrity or the one you just starred at for hours on Pinterest with just a few clicks? I recently downloaded the Myntra app when I found out that it will only exist as an app from now on and found it super fun to use! I don’t generally use that many apps but this one was extremely easy to use. I was able to find so many things similar to the outfits I was wanting to ape at 1/3rd the price! They had everything from apparel, to accessories to make up covered! I sometimes wonder, if Audrey Hepburn had an access to the app would her style be different or would that classic black dress be replaced with something else? Guess we’ll never know, but until then keep using your modern day magic tool to get exactly what you desire and look your whimsical best.

Jumpsuit- Faballey, White shirt dress- Faballey, Shoes- Asos, Bag- Rebecca Minkoff, Sunglasses- Colaba

There are certain trends that are almost reminiscent of summer. Nautical stripes, everything denim and florals are some of my favourite classic summer trends that I always go back to. Florals are bigger, bolder and more head to toe this summer! And unlike every year, the floral trend has taken a new route with variations in darker hues too. The usual corals, red and yellows have been replaced by rusts, burgundy and earthy tones! I am absolutely loving this change and am embracing every bit of it. This burgundy, floral jumpsuit from Faballey is definitely a great buy for summer. It's a versatile piece that can we work in various ways for different occasions. Wear it with a white trench or shirt for a casual daytime vibe, with flips flops and huge tote bag for a quick time out at the beach or even paired with classic pumps and matching burgundy pout for a night around the town. Grab your dose of trendy florals on Faballey and don't forget to upload photos on Instagram to show me how you styled your favourite trend!

Jewellery- Tanishq Indian Wedding collection, Outfit- Anita Dongre

Lovingly addressed as Bindini by her in-laws, the Marwari bride is a sight of pure beauty and elevated elegance. The Marwari wedding that stretches over 5 days has the bride going from one vivid attire to another. Every occasion has a significant reason attached to it given which the bride is expected to dress as per tradition.  Be it the auspicious ‘Haldi’ ceremony, the inevitable ‘Mehendi’ ceremony or the extravagant ‘Mehfil ‘ sangeet, the bride is a stunning sight all throughout.  The opulent Marwari wedding is further enhanced by the gorgeous bride making it a celebration worth remembering.

During the first 3 days, she may make you believe that she cannot look any better but wait until you finally see her on the wedding day. Dressed in a lehenga-choli in hues of red, pink, orange and yellow, with a chunni covering her head, she can brighten up the room with her vivaciousness. With the lehenga is laden with gorgeous gold embroidery and some traditional gota patti work. She also has to wear a Mama chundri  during her pheras which is given to her specifically for this ritual by her maternal uncle. Her jewellery is just as opulent as her outfit including the traditional Chuda, which is a set of red and white bangles worn especially for the wedding. The bichiya (toe ring),  borla (head gear),  nath (nose ring) and payal (anklet) are considered to be synonymous with a married  Marwari woman and are forever remembered as precious treasures by the bride herself.

She is also seen wearing gorgeous Jadau jewellery on her wedding day. Rajasthan is known for its handcrafted jewellery with meenakari work on the back side of the pieces. Layered neckpieces, exaggerated earrings, rings and a lot of bangles, complete the wedding look. The bride also wears a piece to take forth the heritage of her family, something that has been passed on from her grandmother to her mother and now to her. It’s usually a precious piece of jewellery in the form of a haath phool, a jadau bangle or a raani haar.  All in all, just like any other bride, she is all set to walk into her new phase of life with sheer elegance and lots of love.

Cropped top- Zara, Necklace- Global Desi, Pants- Zara, Shoes- Steve Madden, Sunglasses- RayBan, On my lips- L'Oreal Paris Color Riche Moist Mat in Cherry Crush| Location- JW Marriott Hotel Mumbai, Sahar

The Cannes Film festival is always the talk of the town when it comes to fashion and beauty looks. The new Cannes collection by L'Oreal Paris is definitely living up to the hype. While the reactions to the outfits of their ambassadors is always a mixed bag, this stunning collection has been a big hit! Their global stars have been seen flaunting it throughout the festival and the L'Oreal Paris team was kind enough to send some of the products for me to try out and experiment with! The collection includes the L'Oreal Extraordinaire liquid lipsticks, the Color Riche Swarovski limited edition Moist Mat lipsticks accompanied by 3 ethereal blue Super Liner 36H Gel Intenza & 2 other classic shades. Keeping the collection in mind, the theme they are promoting is Gloss v/s Matte, letting you pick your favourite side.

The Color Riche L'Extraordinaire comes in 13 gorgeous shades and is super light weight with a glossy finish. Unlike other glossy formulas, this one is made to not only stay on for longer but it also looks just as glossy throughout too! But me being a matte lover, I am completely smitten by their Color Riche Moist Mat lip colours that are pure pigments which deliver intense colour that is hydrating and lasts upto 6 hours! It includes 12 colours with something for everyone. I am absolutely digging the  limited edition Swarovski rose gold packaging and the shade Cherry Crush is one of my favourites! The collection also includes 5 shades of their Super Liner 36H Gel liners in three shades of blue, the classic black & a subtle chic brown. I've been using their black gel liner for years now but I was quite excited to try out the Sapphire blue one. The quality is just as good and the liner stayed in place for the entire day.

For this look I used the almost black, deep sapphire blue gel liner and the lipstick in Cherry Crush. I love the combination of the two colours and it suited my outfit rather perfectly. Embracing the shades of summer, I went for a simple white and rust look. The palazzo pants are extremely trendy given the influence of 70's fashion and the flowy silhouette is ideal for summer. I have been loving silver jewellery so I accessorized this look with a layered silver necklace with hints of turquoise and a silver rings. I am definitely a matte girl because I like my make up to be fuss free and simple. What do you guys think of this look? Also if you're intrigued, visit a L'Oreal Paris counter near you to swatch the gorgeous shade and if you can, do pick up the Cherry Crush lipstick! Also a special thanks to JW Marriott Hotel Mumbai, Sahar for letting us use this stunning location!
