Ever since I saw this print at the Alexander Wang Spring/Summer '14 show, I have been meaning to get my hands on it! Its fun & quirky and fits right into the whole Logo trend which seems to be one of the most worn trend this season. Simple Logo t-shirts paired with skirts, shorts or just simple white jeans & a blazer create an effortless chic look. It's a trend that one can easily incorporate into your everyday style. Invest in one Logo tee and you could create so many different outfits with it!
Some other fun trends this season are Pastels with baby pinks & powdery blues being the key focus, leather or faux leather skirts in white, nude & pastel shades, Busy floral prints, Sports inspired pieces and Metallics! Personally, I have been loving this mix of feminine and quirky pieces. FabAlley is a great one stop shop for all things trendy. Being an online store, it delivers every where in India and that too within a week! I have had such an amazing experience with their website ever since I started shopping from there almost 2 years go. Their website is easy to browse and has some really affordable trendy pieces at all times! Which is your favourite trend this season? Tag me on Instagram and show me what you're loving!

As it begins to get hotter, all I can dream of is escaping to the beach! Doning floral beach dresses, wearing no make up & giving the feet a break from those high heels. While heading to the beach, whether here in Mumbai or while holidaying, I always make sure to carry a beach bag that can easily hold the essentials I would need for those few hours. This bag can easily be carried to the pool as well! I tend to carry a bright printed bikini set, a pair of shorts to throw on later, sunglasses, a Sunscreen with high SPF to protect the skin from sun exposure, a hat, some magazines & a bottle of water! Staying out in the sun for long hours can dehydrate you so it's essential that you carry water with you or you can even switch it up with some coconut water!

Every year at this time, I start my search for some new bikinis and swimwear. I generally tend to buy mine online from certain websites but this year I found some really great ones at Roxy! They had an amazing collection of over 25 styles and the fit is great too! Another thing that got me hooked were the bright & colourful slippers! I got one for me & a few for my mum/friends too. I even found a great beach dress & a beach bag that would match almost all my outfits! So if you're fond of heading out to the beach or for a holiday and you're looking for some beach appropriate clothing and accessories, do visit the Roxy store or you can buy them here. Chances are you will find almost everything under the same roof!

Outfit- Palanquine Boutique, Shoes- Zara, Earrings- Just Jewellery, Clutch- Diane Von Furstenberg, Aviators- RayBan

I often get messages and emails from a lot of you regarding Ethnic & Indo Western clothing. I absolutely understand the confusion one faces when it comes to occasion based dressing and as the wedding season approaches again it gets even more chaotic. So I decided to introduce you to one of my favourite places for everything an Indian woman would need when it comes to casual, festive or even bridal clothing!

Palanquine is founded and owned by designer Sandhya Shah, who has been manufacturing & marketing products since 1990. It is committed to deliver high quality, trendy and exclusive ethnic wear for modern women. Initially the focus was on the quintessential Salwar Suits, Ghagra cholis & Sarees but the urge to grow further initiated the brand to expand into Indo Western pieces including Evening gowns, Skirts, Dresses and much more! The finest fabrics are crafted into the most amazing designs and are then treated with finishes and exquisite embroideries, making sure whatever goes to the store and then to the clients is of highest quality.

I was introduced to the store through a friend and I was instantly hooked. The pieces were a perfect mix of contemporary & classic. I was looking at getting an outfit for a friend's Mehendi function and this anarkali and cropped jacket set, suited it perfectly. The simplicity of the anarkali with the perfect ghera and the intricate work on the jacket drew me to it. I of course had the option to get this design customized into whatever colour or style I wanted but I chose to stick to these as pastels & navy fall perfectly into the colour trends for Spring/Summer '14. This outfit would even be perfect for a sangeet or reception! I also loved the versatility of the set because I could use both the pieces together or separately.

So if you're interested in getting an outfit made for any occasion or otherwise, feel free to write to them on You could even have a look at their Facebook page for some more of their phenomenal designs and you could order them online itself! You can even find them at the Crescent Moon exhibition at Taj President Hotel, Cuffe Parade on the 27th March! I hope this helps some of you in finding & achieving that perfect outfit!

Dress- Zara, Shoes- Kenneth Cole, Bag- Moschino, His shirt- Zara

Frankly, we discovered The Sassy Spoon while we were looking up new restaurants on zomato. Read a few reviews and decided that it seemed interesting enough to pay a visit! Moreover, while I was scanning through the pictures, he had already gone through the menu & decided what he was going to have! Located behind the Air India building at Nariman Point, the outside area is a bit shabby. But once you get into the building and then the restaurant, it's a whole new world. A beautiful outside set up with vintage looking lamps accompanied by tables of marble & cane chairs welcomed us while a lovely flight of stairs led us to the inside of the restaurant. I was instantly in love with the interiors. Huge windows, colour blocked chairs, exquisite pieces adorned the high ceiling space making it so rustic yet refreshing. We decided to take a table right next to one of the windows and 3 out of the 4 times that we've been there, we sat at the same table!

There's no one way to to define the kind of cuisine they offer but whatever it is, it's really good food! The presentation, the surprising mix of flavours and the extensive menu all keep you longing for more. This time around when we visited, we started with a Today's special appetizer made of set tomato puree and mozzarella! He skipped his favourite appetizer the Cajun spiced buttered prawns because he'd want to keep place for dessert instead. For the main course, I chose the Buckwheat pappardelle with grilled red radish, mustard greens, palm hearts, tomatoes & sumac cream on recommendation & Thank God I did because it was delicious! He went for his standard & beloved Mustard chicken with bacon, shallots & garlic spinach, which is actually on their dinner menu but they were nice enough to stir it up for lunch on that day! All of this was accompanied by some lovely wine from the extensive & exquisite wine list. Next, dessert. Their dessert menu is almost as extensive as the main menu which makes it so hard. We had previously tried the Dark chocolate & basil fondant, Raspberry & chocolate mousse so this time we decided to give the Caramel peanut tart a chance. Might I add, they are all scrumptious!

We have recommended this place to all our dinning & wine lover friends and now we're recommending this to you! It has easily become one of our go-to favourite restaurants when it comes to giving ourselves a little treat! The space, the food, the people, it's all too good to ignore for too long. So next time you're looking for a place to celebrate a special occasion or just to snap out of a hectic day for a good, peaceful meal, we suggest you give this a go!

Shoes- Clarks, Pink dress & Metallic satchel- Asos, Scarf- Mango| Jeggings- Topshop, Tshirt- Mesh, Bag- Rebecca Minkoff, Necklace- Forever New

These were the last two looks I put together as a part of the Clarks Uncovered project! I decided to go all out for Thursday with a bright pink dress and mustard printed scarf. I was surprised by how well all the hues complimented each other. To add some more spunk, I threw on a Asos metallic satchel.
As for Friday, I went ahead with super casual outfit, sticking with my blue high waist jeans and a sports inspired cropped mesh tee. My Rebecca Minkoff mini mac was the perfect accessory to complete this look! I hope you guys enjoyed all these looks! I had an amazing time putting all of this together. Until next time!
