Dress- Colaba(Pax), Denim Jacket- Topshop, Bag- Zara, Shoes- Aldo, Bracelets-Forever21, Aldo, Necklace- Hillroad, Bandra

Recently I've been piled on with so much work! I enjoy working but when you have a meeting every single day, it becomes a task to dress chic each time. So, I've created a few comfortable and stress free outfits for this work laden month. This outfit just happens to be one of them; a severly printed floral dress with a go-to denim jacket, comfortable shoes and a sling bag! I got this dress, back in November from Pax for Rs.150. No, I did not miss a zero there. It's got some light shoulder pads and is a dream day dress. The print, the length, the cut, make it so day time appropriate. Pairing a dress with a denim jacket instantly turns it into something so modish. A denim jacket is the best layering piece for summer and if you don't have one already, I propose you start your hunt now! For me, an outfit is incomplete without jewellery, so I added some arm candy and a jewelled collar necklace to this ensemble. What is your go-to spring/summer outfit? Comment below or click a picture and tag me on Instagram or Twitter. I could really use some cool outfit ideas!

How To : Bedazzled Clutch

 photo Bedazzled-Clutch_zps88294967.jpg
Clutch(old)- Zara, Glue Gun- Stationery store, Floral embellishments- Something Special

Ever since I saw the embellished clutches by Prada and Miu Miu, I have been itching to make one of my own. For the longest time, I couldn't find the kind of embellishments I wanted. But I finally found these gorgeous holographic flowers lying in a corner at the craft store and I knew this was it! I didn't want to make it too blingy so I stuck to simple yet alluring embellishments. You can pick embellishments of your choice. You could even try using your old bracelets, earrings or necklaces.

What you need:-
An old clutch bag
Embellishments of choice
Colour pencils/ Pens
Glue Gun

Steps :-
1) The first and most important part of this diy is picking the embellishments you want. Once you have that sorted, it's child's play.

2) Using a colour pencil or pen, mark the spots where you'd want to place your embellishments. I went for simple rows and columns. You could however play with patterns and create something fun.

3) Now using a glue gun or fabric glue, stick the embellishments on to the bag.

4) Let it dry for about 2 hours and then you're ready to flaunt it!

I hope you guys try this fun and quick revamp trick yourself! For me, I can't wait to take this beloved to the Lakme Fashion week!

Shirt- Zara, Skirt-Forever21(worn here), Belt- Zara(sale), Shoes-Asos, Embellished clutch- Forever21, Earrings- Hill road, Rings- Aldo, Blur, Pipa+Bella

Stripes are one of the most prominent trends for Spring/Summer 2013. They were seen all over the runways of Marc Jacobs, Dolce & Gabbana, Balmain, Michael Kors, to name a few and now they are overwhelming the high street stores. Nautical stripes are always big for summer but this time around we will see a modern version of this classic print. Even though stripes in various colours and sizes are doing the rounds, black & white stripes are the most common ones. I adore this shirt from Zara as it works with absolutely anything and I love the oh so flattering vertical stripes. I've had this shirt for a week and I've already worn it thrice, once with a pair of leather leggings, another time with bubble gum pink skinny jeans and this time around with a skirt in a neutral hue. Adding a simple piece like this shirt to your wardrobe is an easy way to incorporate the trend. If you're feeling a bit daring, you could even experiment with a pair of vertical striped pants or statement striped shoes. I accessorized the ensemble with yet another trendy piece, the embellished clutch! This is a Forever21 buy that I will cherish forever. The clutch not only provides the right amount of colour to an outfit like this but I also love the tribal feel of its design. I added some rings and statement earrings to finish off the look. I hear statement earrings is another trend which is making a huge come back this summer! So if you've hidden those chandelier earrings, it's time to bring out the stash!

Shirt, Blazer, Riding Pants, Cuffs, Necklace, Bag- c/o Promod, Shoes- Steve Madden, On my nails- Zoya Tobey, On my lips- Mac's Twig + Estee Lauder gloss in Blush

I won't lie, I am not a frequenter at Promod. But recently when I was invited by the team to check out their new Spring/Summer 2013 collection,I obliged. And I'm glad I did, as from the minute I entered the store, I was awed. The colours, the prints, the accessories, were all perfect for this time of the year. Their scarves section was so tempting, I had to grab a few! Lots of monochrome action was broken by the blooming spring colours! A military inspired parka was on my list of things I was going to take away! But then I saw this tangerine blazer and that's when it started. The blazer is cut perfectly and I love the fact that it is collarless so you can wear it with a shirt as well! Which brings me to this gorgeous Rebecca Minokffish floral ombre shirt. The colours are bang on trend and the floral print sleeves make it such a stand out piece. The best part? The fabric is so light and airy, perfect for this scorching heat. I paired both these beauties with a super comfortable pair of high waisted riding pants which according to me, everyone needs to have one of these in their closets! They are the epitome of comfortable bottoms! I added the half pink half gold cuffs to add that mod effect along with this black tote bag which has gold studs and a cute tassel at the back. All these pieces are so versatile. You could wear the shirt and the riding pants with flats for work and then upgrade your outfit for the night by adding the bright blazer, some heels and accessories. With all these new additions to my wardrobe, I am ready for Spring/Summer. Are you?
