Floral Power

Shirt - Thrifted, Skirt - Forever New, Bag - Esprit, Shoes - Zara, Rings - Aldo, Belts - Forever21

Now for those who care to read, I certainly don't wish to address everything I hear or feel but there are a few things that I would like to put forth my point of view on. It's okay to form opinions. It's okay to believe them too. But the problem arises when you start preaching them to others. It's okay to be jealous. It's okay to talk about it too. But (again) the problem arises when you start acting on it. It's okay to think that others are worthless. It's okay to dwell on it too. But(and yet again) it becomes a cause of worry when you start publicly voicing that dislike. What I am trying to say is, all of us go through phases where we believe in something, lose belief in the same thing; love a certain something/someone & then hate them the very next dawn; motivate someone & then demean them at the immediate chance that comes your way. What's not good about this entire thing is that we forget the fact that we might be hurting someone's emotions, making someone else lose faith in something they believe in, maybe in certain cases demean someone's effort or even give rise to hate clubs. I recently learnt this lesson and hence here are my 2 cents on what I would like to believe will lead you to the good life.

I know this post was a little heavy so on a lighter note, it's GIVEAWAY time in the next post! Don't worry you won't have to 'Like' or 'Follow' anything :)

Fashion Tour Finale

The finale of the Blenders Pride fashion tour defined the word very well. A few of the country's best designers came forward to end this fabulous fashion weekend here in Mumbai. The designers who showcased their collections at the finale included Vikram Phadnis, Miranda Wirk, Wendell Roderick and Reynu Tandon. Each collection was quite different from the other. All very mesmerizing never the less. Lots of bright colours, bright accessories, orange and red lips, ruffles, velvet were some of the few things that were predominant. Hope you guys enjoyed the pictures!

A few new things

Steve Madden Shoes; Metallic Asos Satchel; Nyx Matte lipsticks in Indie Flick, BloodyMary and Shocking Pink; Nyx round lipstick in Eros; Nyx soft lip cream in Amsterdam & Addis Ababa

I've realized that I have become quite picky about the things I buy now. There was a time when I would go pick up just anything because it looked cute. Now its more about what I really might need or having that one coveted thing. Steve Madden debuted in India this week and I swear, I would trade all my shoes to have an entire shoe closet from Steve Madden. Despite being 6 inch heels, these are so comfortable. I have two more on my list, which i shall maybe pick up for my Birthday! The metallic Asos satchel has received way too many stares. I absolutely love that kind of attention. As for the Nyx products, the new Matte lipsticks are so amazing. I know alot of people have said that it dries their lips and all that. But for me, I put on a good layer on my MAC lip conditioner and these look fantastic on top of that. I wore Indie flick  for the Fashion tour and it stayed for 5 hours without touch ups! I also love the soft lip creams in Amsterdam and Addis Ababa . New favourite lip products for sure.

Fashion Tour

A few glimpses from the Blender's Pride Fashion Tour which kicked off last night. It started with Raakesh Agarvwal and Neeta Lulla's collections. Quite an experience. Loved both the collections however personally I liked Neeta Lulla's collection better. The silhouettes and color palettes used by her were awe worthy. Looking forward to more glamour in the next two days. Will keep you posted.
